Minnetonka, Minnesota- The Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC) returns to the Bay of Green Bay out of the twin cities of Marinette, Wisconsin and Menominee, Michigan, July 11 and 12. This is the third time in five years the MWC has held a tournament in this area. Last year it took over 52 pounds to win this tournament, which is predicted to be in the running for the winning two day basket again this year. “I think you will see a five pound average,” shared Don Frederick (part of the current Team of the Year and third place finishers at last year’s event). “The bite was really good about a week ago before a cold front and northwest winds settled over the area and slowed everything down. Once the cold front moves out and it begins to warm up again, the fish will be more active and you will see some nice baskets on stage.”
